Assignment Overview
A Registered Nurse is needed for the Medical ICU, a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, hemodynamic instability, and a variety of other acute conditions. You will be required to float to the sister unit as needed and participate in weekend and holiday rotation shifts.
Assignment Details
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)
- Shift: 3x12 Nights
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
- Manage invasive lines including arterial lines
- Deliver NIH and TNK therapy
- Operate and manage mechanical and noninvasive ventilation
- Administer and titrate IV medications such as vasopressors, sedatives, insulin, and antiarrhythmics
- Provide enteral or parenteral nutrition
- Conduct frequent laboratory monitoring and manage complex medication regimens
