Looking for a Gero-psych RN with 2+ years of experience. Patients are mostly over 60 yrs old, dementia, depression or suicidal. This has 16 private rooms. 1 to 6/7 ratios. Ideal Staffing plan- 3 RNs/2 techs. We have 1-3 techs on the unit depending on the census and the acuity of the patients. Centrak badges for increased safety (like a panic button) Protective services dispatched immediately when pressed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of psych experience
- BLS and CPI certs
- must be able to draw blood and manage IVs
- OH or compact RN license
- recent EPIC experience
- Must have an accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE
- Float within specialty
