Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, technicians, and unit secretaries
- Maintain a safe and efficient patient care environment across all assigned shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of acute Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per month; no on-call required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Active, personable demeanor with strong team collaboration skills
