Machine Operator / Production Operator
Location: McAllen & Pharr, TX
Pay: $11.00–$11.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Multiple shifts available, including 2nd and 3rd shifts
- 12-hour rotating schedules, and Saturdays as needed
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Machine Operators / Production Operators for local manufacturing companies in McAllen and Pharr, TX. These positions involve operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, loading materials, inspecting products, and maintaining production and safety standards.
Job Duties:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing and production machinery
- Work with equipment such as punch presses, plastic molding machines, and other manufacturing equipment
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines
- Inspect products for quality, defects, and consistency
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed
- Perform routine equipment checks and report mechanical issues
- Follow production procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet production goals while maintaining quality and minimizing waste
- Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous machine operator, manufacturing, or production experience
- Ability to operate and monitor machinery safely
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be flexible with shifts, overtime, rotating schedules, and occasional Saturdays
