Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Work every other weekend as required by unit scheduling
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed (on-call, when required, is limited to the first 4 hours)
- Float within scope to like units or sister facilities to meet staffing needs as required
- Document all patient care and clinical activity using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records is required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
