Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during day shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license – no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Active BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Completed EKG Course and/or Telemetry competency test required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience welcome; first-time travelers accepted
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Demonstrated ability to float across units and adapt to varying patient care environments
