Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit within a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
- Deliver nursing care in alignment with facility protocols and standards for a diverse adult patient population
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals across 38 medical specialties
- May be required to float within the facility or to units within the designated float radius as directed by unit leadership
- Ensure all required certifications are obtained and current prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Kentucky (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility
- All required certifications must be in place prior to start; client reserves the right to require additional certifications
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Med/Surg specialty setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with cardiac care or neurosurgery/spine patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments and unit workflows
