Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Float to Nursery as needed to support unit staffing requirements
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience required
- Level III NICU experience required
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to Nursery settings
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in high-acuity neonatal environments
- Previous travel nursing experience
