Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse (RN) located in the United States responsible for providing specialized care to patients requiring intermediate levels of medical attention. This position involves utilizing evidence-based nursing practices to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all required certifications and clinical standards.
Job Details
- Required Certifications and Education: RN - Single State or RN - Multi-state Compact, BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support Instructor, less than 1 year of direct patient care experience, completion of an accredited school of nursing with clinical hours.
- Schedule: Night shift from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include administering patient care, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with technology to support clinical care and basic computer skills.
- Possess excellent time management, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
