Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing advanced emergency care in a busy, Level III trauma center that serves a diverse patient population. The role requires a healthcare professional skilled in trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis management, with a focus on delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (from AHA); required.
- Education: RN ADN license; required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency or related setting preferred; 2 years of experience required.
- Specialty: Emergency Room.
- Department: Emergency Department.
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Patient Ratios: ER main department 4:1, Fast Track 6:1.
- Equipment: Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV.
- Unit Information: 48 beds with flex space; team nursing and pod system; social worker assigned to department; unit educator.
- Required Experience: 2 years.
- Additional Information: Must have experience in trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis management. Preferred experience includes emergency department work for at least 2 years.
