Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients in a 30-bed ICU.
- Manage patient care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2.
- Administer and titrate vasoactive drips and sedation.
- Interpret telemetry strips using GE monitors and adapt to fast-paced interventions.
- Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to PCU and CICU units as needed, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with at least 2-3 years of ICU experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification, PALS preferred.
- Proficient in ICP monitoring, ventriculostomy, and post-TPA patient care.
- Experience in high-volume trauma care and neuro-stroke management.
- Able to adapt to Cerner charting and participate in a robust interventional radiology program.
- Covid-19 vaccination required for this position.
