Travel Med/Surg – Ortho RN
Specialty: Med/Surg / Ortho / Post-Operative
Location: Gallatin, TN
Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract: 12 weeks
Start Date: September 7, 2026
Experience: 1+ year
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS & NIH
License: Tennessee RN license required
Patient Ratio: 4–6:1
Unit: 23 beds
Patient Population: Geriatric, adult and pediatric patients 13+
Common Cases: Post-op joints, bariatric surgery, GI surgery and trauma
Floating: Required as needed
Weekend: As needed / approximately every 3rd weekend
Call: None
Charting: Meditech
Scrubs: Any color
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Local Radius: Candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as Travel
State Compliance: Tennessee Abuse Registry check required before start
Education: ASN required
