Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor
- Location: Wichita, KS
- Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience, and chemo certification is preferred
- Responsibilities include providing standard medical surgical care, chemotherapy administration, and working as part of a supportive team in a magnet designated facility
- The unit operates with a primary nursing care model and maintains patient ratios of 1:5, with remote tele patient monitoring requiring VS every 4 hours
- Additional information: The unit values positive attitudes, teamwork, and offers a supportive environment with strong leadership to assist new staff members
