About the Position

We are seeking an Optometrist for a 120-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Sep 10, 2026. This Physician will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, prescribing eyeglasses, and advising on follow-up care, including prescribing antibiotics. The role involves visiting assisted living homes and nursing facilities with provided travel-friendly equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct eye exams
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses
- Advise patients, families, and facilities on follow-up care
- Prescribe antibiotics
- Visit assisted living homes and nursing facilities
- Utilize provided company laptop and travel-friendly equipment
Additional Information
- Board Certified in Optometry
- Cases include ocular disease, ocular degeneration, cataracts, and vision checks
- The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
