About the Clinician's WorkdayThe interventional/diagnostic radiologist will provide on-site inpatient and emergency room coverage during day shifts, performing comprehensive interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic imaging interpretation. Primary procedural responsibilities include lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis examinations with drains, and CT/US biopsies as preferred interventional procedures. The clinician will manage approximately 50 studies per day plus 4-6 procedures daily, with additional coverage opportunity at the outpatient building for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies where clinician presence is required. Board certification is required for this assignment.
