Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery PA for a long-term locum opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee supporting a busy inpatient cardiac surgery service.
This assignment combines OR first assist responsibilities, CV ICU management, postoperative cardiac care, and in-house call coverage.
Compensation Highlights
- Clinical Coverage: $160/hour
- Night Call: $1,000/night
- Callback: $180/hour
- Long-term assignment through year-end
- Top 10–15% CT Surgery PA compensation nationally

Job Responsibilities
Provider responsibilities include:
- First assist in cardiac surgery cases
- CABG assistance
- Open heart procedures
- Valve repair / replacement
- Endoscopic vein harvesting (independent EVH required)
- Endoscopic radial artery harvesting
- SFA exposure / assistance
- Sternotomy closure
- Chest tube placement
- Arterial / venous sheath placement
- Central venous line placement
- CV ICU management
- Pre-op and post-op care
- Impella management
