Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Epic experience required
- Postpartum experience required
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Support patients and families with education, compassion, and clinical expertise during the childbirth process
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, obstetric care providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated care
- Accurately document care and use Epic for charting and workflow tasks
- Contribute to a positive patient experience in a collaborative maternal health unit
