Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical ICU, ICU, or critical care nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong critical care, acute monitoring, and clinical assessment skills
- CCRN preferred
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Medical ICU or COVID ICU experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the MICU
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to ICU standards and provider orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient updates clearly
- Support a patient-centered, safety-focused environment in a fast-paced critical care setting
