Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in the Midwest region. This position involves evaluating, treating, and planning patient care across a diverse patient population, including pediatrics through geriatrics, with a focus on outpatient and inpatient orthopedic and neurological cases.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and documentation of patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy Standards of practice. Must document to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Master's degree in physical therapy, licensure for the State of Michigan, AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and ability to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings with a patient mix including orthopedics and neurology. No minimum years of experience required; new grads accepted.
- Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Applicants must live outside 50 miles from the facility. Candidates with prior contract experience in colder climates are preferred to ensure reliability during weather events. During flu season, medical staff must wear masks if declining flu and COVID vaccinations.
