Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Central Vermont Medical Center
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including patients in the ICU and Emergency Department. The RRT will assess respiratory status, manage mechanical ventilation, provide NIV and HFNC therapy, and perform respiratory treatments according to established protocols while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements
- 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
- RRT
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Neonatal and pediatric experience, including NICU/PICU exposure
- Epic experience within the past 2 years
- Strong critical-care and mechanical ventilation experience
Schedule
- 16–26 week assignment
- 12-hour shifts
- Self-scheduling through “When to Work”
- Every other weekend minimum
- Travelers must work 2 of 4 major holidays
- No block scheduling
- No current call requirement
- 3 days of orientation
- Scrub color: Any color
