- Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shift
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Call: Required, including weeknight and weekend call coverage
- Scheduling: Self-scheduling environment
- Float: May be required based on staffing needs
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of current Operating Room experience required
- Prior travel nurse experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required or obtainable after acceptance
- Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date
- Cerner experience preferred
- Experience circulating and managing total joint cases strongly preferred
- Willingness to complete orientation, modules, and facility compliance requirements
- Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
- Circulate for a variety of surgical procedures, including total joints and complex specialty cases
- Support cases in orthopedics, robotics, neuro, urology, laparoscopic, and general surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and support medication workflows using the designated EMR/system tools
- Participate in call coverage, holiday rotation, and float assignments as needed
- Deliver compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Follow all scheduling, time-off, and compliance guidelines throughout the assignment
