Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Roswell, NM 88201
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,880 – $1,980
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
- Unit Type: Labor & Delivery / LDRP
- Unit Size: 11 beds

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with 3:1 patient ratios preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong skills in labor support, postpartum couplet care, and obstetric triage
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced maternal health environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum couplets
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Support breastfeeding, lactation, infant identification, and newborn assessment
- Monitor recovery after C-section and provide incision and episiotomy care
- Manage triage of obstetrical patients and respond to changing patient needs
- Promote newborn thermoregulation, phototherapy care, and hypoglycemia management as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and contribute to a positive unit culture
