Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a seasonal travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring NBRC certification and current ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy Unit within a 760-bed Level 1 trauma hospital
- 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage with adult ECMO capability
- 15-bed PICU and Level 3 NICU on site
- Equipment includes Draeger V800 ventilators, Hamilton C1 ventilators, and Airvo for high-flow nasal cannula
- Meditech EMR used for charting
- 13-week assignment with 7A-7P shift schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of current RRT experience
- NBRC Certification required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Pediatric/PICU experience preferred
- Strong ICU experience preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform respiratory care treatments and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Work in a fast-paced critical care environment alongside a team of 95 RT staff
- Best suited for candidates with a dynamic personality who thrive in high-acuity settings
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates will not be accepted
