**Job Description:**

- Engage with patients and their families, addressing their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Utilize the nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — to deliver outstanding nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Play a vital role in educating patients, families, and caregivers on their healthcare needs.
- Document all aspects of patient care, ensuring accurate and thorough records.
**Job Requirements:**
**Education/Skills:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
**Experience:**
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
**Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:**
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).
- Current PALS certification required (AHA only).
- Current TNCC certification required.
- RN License in state of TX or compact.
**Position Requirements:**
**Education/Skills:**
- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- New hires will be precepted by a designated trained staff member.
- Initial on-boarding and competency validations will be conducted in alignment with organizational standards.
- Graduates may participate in a residency program or specific orientation for ongoing development.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is mandatory.
**Experience:**
- One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
