Job Description:
- Join a dedicated and compassionate team at a 143-bed acute care facility renowned for its exceptional patient care.
- Shift Details:
- **Schedule:** 7A - 7P
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours
- **Weekend Requirements:** Every 3rd weekend
- **Call Requirements:** None
- Position Responsibilities:
- Specialize in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and Gynecology.
- Provide care for patients in antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and pediatrics.
- Collaborate with a professional team to ensure a nurturing environment for patients and families.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with charge experience.
- Certifications/Licensure:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
- STABLE
- AWHON Fetal Monitoring
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, mother/baby, pediatrics, and gynecology.
- Unit Information:
- Beds:
- 3 Labor & Delivery
- 4 Triage
- 2 Antepartum
- 10 Postpartum/Gynecology/Pediatrics
- Patient Ratios: Based on acuity
- Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue
- EHR System: MediTech
- Work Environment:
- Supportive leadership from the Director of The Birthing Place.
