Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for high and low-risk laboring patients, including those requiring magnesium and insulin drips
- Circulate during cesarean and vaginal deliveries in the OR and perform post-birth care
- Administer and manage epidurals and PCA pumps during labor and delivery
- Perform patient education and discharge instructions for new parents
- Float between High Risk and Labor & Delivery units as needed
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Current NC or Compact RN license in hand
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Not accepting first-time travelers
- Able to work every other weekend and provide open scheduling availability
