🔥 DAY-SHIFT PEDIATRIC CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER CONTRACT – PREMIER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

First Connect Health has an immediate 12-week travel contract opening for an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) in Akron, Ohio. Operating within the Cardiology division at Akron Children's Hospital, this position features a structured 5x8 daytime schedule (08:00 AM - 16:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday). If you are a credentialed Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-PE or RCCS) looking to earn a solid package of $2,806/week with max tax-free stipends and utilize Epic EMR, this assignment is tailored for you!

💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

Weekly Gross: $2,806.00
Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
Hourly W2 Rate: $39.00/hr (40 regular hours)
Overtime Rate: $58.50/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (08:00 AM - 16:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday).
Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours per week.
On-Call Requirements: Standby call is required. On-call rate is $7.50/hr ($125.00/hr call-back rate).
Clinical Scope & Setting: Outpatient pediatric cardiology and congenital heart assessments. Performs comprehensive transthoracic pediatric echocardiograms, Doppler assessments, and congenital heart evaluations. Fetal Echo experience is a strong plus.
Floating Requirements: Floating required to regional outpatient clinics supported by the health system.
EMR System: Epic EMR.
Dress Code: Any color scrubs allowed!

Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical pediatric echocardiography experience required (5+ years strongly preferred). Prior travel experience is required (no first-time travelers).
Certifications Required: * ARDMS (PE) – Pediatric Echocardiography OR CCI (RCCS) – Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (Strictly Required).
- ARDMS Fetal Echo (FE) certification is preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
