Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Pacific Campus, specializing in high-risk perinatal care. This position involves providing comprehensive maternity services at a Level II NICU integrated facility. The role requires delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, staffing 1:1 in labor and supporting postpartum and antepartum care.
Job Details
- Position Description: L&D RN at the Pacific Campus, focusing on high-risk perinatal care within a Level II NICU setting. Responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries, postpartum and antepartum patient management, neonatal assessments, and facilitating safe labor and delivery processes.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring certification are required.
- Education and Experience: At least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred. Experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries is ideal.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Applicants should have experience in using Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring and managing a variety of obstetric procedures. Candidates must be flexible to float to postpartum or antepartum units as needed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to specific screening questions regarding prior employment at a Providence facility and provide two references covering 1 year during the last 3 years.
