Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a short-term acute care facility offering a dynamic perioperative environment. The position involves providing specialized patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to hospital protocols. The role is structured for nights shifts, supporting a comprehensive clinical team to deliver high-quality surgical services.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shifts, 40 hours per week, starting from 10/06/2026 to 01/05/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience, experience working in hospital settings, certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in surgical trauma or subspecialties, knowledge of EPIC charting system, ability to handle high-volume patient care environments
- Float: Float rotation may be required between nearby facilities
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work during holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. Specific scheduling requests must be made upfront during submission. Two references covering the last three years are required. Prior experience at a facility within the last three years, including travel or registry experience, should be disclosed. Candidates are expected to comply with all clinical standards and policies outlined by the organization.
