Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a high-volume, Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. The role requires supporting a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient safety and excellence.
Job Details
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications, current RN license, at least 2 years of experience as a nurse with a minimum of 1 year in an ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time, flexibility to work in all areas of the ED. Previous HCA experience preferred.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: The nurse must demonstrate respectful behavior, utilize AIDET communication, and update patient boards throughout the visit. Experience with procedures performed on the unit and adherence to unit policies are required. The department values teamwork, a welcoming attitude, and supporting a culturally diverse community.
