Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Manage and treat common ED diagnoses including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis-related conditions, and hypertension
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting flexibly based on acuity
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment within a Meditech EHR environment
- Float to like assignments as needed to support department staffing
- Maintain current required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EHR system
- Team-oriented with a positive, engaged attitude
- Familiarity with high-acuity ED presentations and flexible staffing environments
