Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a 54-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Work as part of a night shift team alongside charge nurses, fellow RNs, and paramedics
- Prioritize and manage a dynamic patient caseload in a high-volume emergency setting
- Document patient information and care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Room experience
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Ability to work rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EHR system
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team player in a collaborative unit environment
