We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Pathology for a 60-day assignment in Missouri, commencing on Sep 28, 2026. This role involves working 8-hour shifts and includes handling diverse cases such as breast, colon, and prostate resections, performing frozen sections every other day, FNA, and rapid onsite evaluations, with minimal grossing duties when a PA is absent.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform pathology evaluations including breast resection, colon, and prostate specimens, with few lung cases.
- Manage cases requiring frozen sections every other day and Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA).
- Conduct non-GYN cytology and rapid onsite evaluations.
- Undertake minimal grossing when Physician Assistant is unavailable.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology is required.
- The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
- Work involves 8-hour shifts.
