JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, or AOA)
- Licenses: Active unrestricted TN Medical license, DEA with TN address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with TN address and schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4,5
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS; NRP required for Non-ABEM providers
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required; case logs for last two years
- Other Qualifications: ECFMG for foreign graduates; Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required during initial application and every two years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
- Supervise NP and PA providers as required.
- Work 12-hour shifts covering both day (6a-6p) and night (6p-6a) rotations.
- Manage an annual patient volume of approximately 24,000 visits.
- Collaborate with specialty backup including Hospital Medicine, OB, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT; arrange transfers for Pediatrics, Cardiology, GI, and Ortho as needed.
