- Rotating schedule -- five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days
- 1:2 call ratio -- beeper call with 15-minute response time
- Both inpatient and outpatient experience required
- Cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery experience required
- Surgical and call coverage experience required
- Coverage until permanent staff hired
