Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CCU setting and will be expected to float to similar Medical/Surgical units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Critical Care Unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and treatments.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Illinois Registered Nurse License.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CCU setting; 3+ years preferred.
Scheduling Details
- Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours (19:00 start)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Orientation: 12 hours of orientation (6 hours non-billable)

About the Role
This position requires flexibility to float between like Medical/Surgical Units as necessary. Candidates should be prepared for weekend shifts and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as part of the nursing team.
