Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens
Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing (6+ months)
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- ~12 shifts per month
Practice Environment- Community hospital Emergency Department
- Physician + APP coverage model
- Physicians provide supervision of APCs
- EMR: Epic
- Established workflows with consistent staffing
This is a
clean, steady ED environment without unnecessary complexity.
Clinical Scope- ~29,000 annual visits
- ~2.0–2.2 patients per hour
- 24 ED beds
- Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine
This is a
balanced-volume ED—busy enough to stay sharp, but not overwhelming.
Facility Overview- ~75-bed community hospital
- Non-trauma designated facility
- Serves a regional patient population along Lake Erie
This setting provides
consistent patient flow in a controlled, community-focused environment.
Credentialing & Requirements- ABEM/AOBEM or FM with Emergency Medicine experience
- Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
- NIHSS certification required
- Clean credentialing history
Credentialing Timeline: ~60 days
License: Can be initiated during credentialing process
