Intensive Care Unit Nurse in Sonora This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within the Intensive Care Unit according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The role includes supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, and coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional, and supervisory discretion, and independent judgement.
Job Details
- Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process; supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Provides education and participates in discharge planning. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other duties as assigned.
