Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians and Family Medicine physicians with recent Emergency Department experience for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
This long-term assignment offers physicians the opportunity to practice broad-spectrum emergency medicine in a modern critical access hospital with a collaborative emergency department, EPIC EMR, and predictable 12-hour scheduling. Qualified providers may have opportunities to support additional regional facilities within the same healthcare organization through an established credentialing process.

Practice Environment
Provide emergency care in a well-supported Critical Access Hospital featuring:
- 25 inpatient beds
- 8-bed Emergency Department
- Approximately 40 hours of physician coverage weekly
- EPIC electronic medical record
- Collaborative nursing, ancillary, and hospital support
- Community-based emergency medicine with access to higher levels of care when clinically indicated
Clinical Scope
- Evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan
- Manage a broad spectrum of medical and traumatic emergencies
- Perform emergency stabilization and resuscitation
- Coordinate admissions and transfers when appropriate
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and order management
- Deliver independent emergency care within a collaborative hospital environment
Candidate Requirements
Required
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or
- Board Certified Family Medicine physician with meaningful recent Emergency Department experience
- Active West Virginia Medical License
- Active DEA Registration
- IMLC physicians encouraged to apply
