JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required
- Licenses: Active Florida Medical License required
- Certifications: ATLS required
- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine
- Other Qualifications: Must have clear NPBD background check
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
- Manage high-acuity trauma and medical emergencies in a trauma facility.
- See an average of 2 patients per hour during 10-hour shifts.
- Coordinate with APP assistance for patient care without direct supervision of APPs.
- Complete documentation and patient care tasks after shift conclusion; no call back required.
