Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) opportunity available in a healthcare setting located in the area. This position involves providing outpatient physical therapy services within an inpatient environment, requiring flexibility, good time management, and the ability to work independently. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and conclude on 01/04/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California state license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, and recent inpatient experience preferred.
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Acute inpatient physical therapy; good time management skills and ability to work independently required (as the sole therapist on Saturdays in the acute setting).
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with patient transport to/from treatment and admissions. May need to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may impact continuity of employment. Candidates must include response to prior employment at a Providence facility if applicable, and provide two references covering 1 year during the last 3 years.
