Assignment Overview
Seeking an experienced RN specializing in cardiovascular intensive care for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Experience with post-open heart surgical patients and titratable drips is essential.

Responsibilities
- Care for post-open heart surgical patients and other cardiovascular procedures
- Administer and titrate various drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, and vasopressin
- Read and interpret cardiac monitor strips
- Utilize specialized equipment including IABPs, Impellas, and CRRT
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain strong communication and organizational skills
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS (AHA) certification
- At least 2 years of solid CVICU experience
- Ability to work at a fast pace and manage stress effectively
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
- CCRN certification is a plus
