Rhino Medical is seeking OB/GYN physicians for ongoing locum tenens assignments supporting a primary stroke certified hospital in Marquette, Michigan. This role involves providing emergency, labor, and delivery care within a general obstetrics and gynecology setting, under supervision, with a focus on emergency response and resident supervision.
Opportunity Highlights
- Location: Marquette, Michigan
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens
- Setting: Community hospital
- Coverage: Ongoing with scheduled dates including May 28 (8:00–16:00), May 29 – June 1, and July 24 – July 27
- Call Type: 24-hour, all-inclusive call
- Call Response: ED and labor & delivery within 10 minutes
- Average Calls: 8 per 24 hours
Clinical Scope
- OB/GYN emergency care and labor and delivery services
- Supervised by attending physicians
- Care to assigned and unassigned patients
- Resident and medical student supervision involved
- Availability of privileges: conscious sedation (encouraged but not required)
Requirements
- Active Michigan medical license (no IMLC accepted)
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- MD degree
- Willingness to cover multiple spans with ongoing availability
