Job Summary:
Occupational Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare setting. This role involves conducting health screenings for new hires, administering necessary vaccines to safeguard caregivers working in the facility, managing blood and body fluid exposure incidents, providing respiratory protection training, and overseeing communicable disease management. The position does not require direct patient care. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 10/05/2026 and conclude on 01/25/2027, with a standard work schedule of days and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of experience in occupational health or similar setting, knowledge of health screening procedures and vaccination protocols, current CPR certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with health screening on new hires, familiarity with blood and body fluid exposure protocols, respiratory protection training, and communicable disease management.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred. Travel experience is not required. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn new electronic health record systems, and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
