Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting during overnight shifts
- Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid and in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
