Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms
- Manage patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 in cardiac/trauma settings
- Perform and assist with procedures including splinting, EKGs, central line management, airway support, trauma assists, rapid infuser operation, and resuscitation
- Utilize Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid Infusers, and Stryker stretchers in patient care delivery
- Document and manage patient information using MEDITECH EMR
- Provide behavioral health de-escalation support as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- ENPC certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR
- Trauma experience in an emergency or acute care setting
- Experience holding inpatient patients within the ED
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
