Job Summary:
This Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing position is based in an unspecified location. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend scheduled, including holidays during the winter season. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality critical care, with opportunities to float between the Intensive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Unit as needed. Candidates must have relevant experience in cardiothoracic surgery and familiarity with devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella. The position is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and conclude on 01/02/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/02/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting, including cardiothoracic surgery experience and familiarity with devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Impella. Candidate must be separated from the organization for 6 or more months to be considered. Orientation is weekly.

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: BILH coversheet is required at the time of submission. The shift includes working through winter holidays, with 2 holidays required if working during this period. EPIC electronic medical records system experience is mandatory. Any color scrubs may be worn.
