Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Sacramento. This role involves providing specialized inpatient rehabilitation services to adult patients with neurological injuries, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and other complex conditions. The RN will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, 52-bed inpatient setting, supporting recovery and optimizing patient outcomes through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:15 PM to 6:45 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); 6 months of experience in inpatient or rehabilitation setting; valid RN license; eligible to work in the designated location.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and wound care; strong patient management skills for adult populations.
- Additional Information: The RN will work with patients exhibiting complex neurological and trauma-related conditions, including trachs, wound care, and isolation patients. Scrub color is navy blue (not mandatory), with no specific attire requirements. The primary language will be English, and the environment requires adherence to safety protocols such as wearing closed-toed shoes and maintaining short nails excluding acrylics. The start date for this assignment is 09/21/2026, with an end date of 12/21/2026.
