Urology locums coverage in California with a clinic-forward mix and limited OR time, plus 24 hour weekend call coverage only. Adult patient population with general community urology cases.
Highlights
- Clinic-heavy practice with more in-office procedures than OR cases
- No weeknight call currently, weekend call coverage only
- General community urology, no high complexity or high acuity cases
- Established support team, 2 MAs, 2 LVNs, plus office staff
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient urology
- Adults only
- Typical volume 20 to 25 patients per day
- Cerner EMR
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p
- 24 hour weekend call coverage
- No weeknight call currently
Cases and Procedures
- General community urology, no high complexity or high acuity cases
- More in-office procedures than OR cases
- OR availability up to 1 day per week, may only be needed about 2 times per month depending on clinic versus OR preference
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Urology
- California license required, will not wait for license
- BLS and DEA
