Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required
- Current acute care experience in the specialty, consistently within the last 12 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Oncology nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to float to equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a high-acuity hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse in a fast-paced oncology environment
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Support infection prevention and fall prevention initiatives with consistent attention to detail
- Administer and manage IV therapies, blood products, and other ordered treatments as appropriate
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors and blood cancers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote quality outcomes and patient safety
- Float to comparable or lower-acuity units based on staffing needs
- Deliver professional, patient-centered nursing care while adapting to a dynamic clinical setting
